Hauraki Plains College has a vacancy for an Agri-science (achievement standards program), Ag Trades Academy Teacher (Primary ITO unit standards) starting Term 4 or in the new year. 

Hauraki Plains College is a dynamic school with its own school farm (8 ha plus a further 40 ha leased).  The farm is being developed by staff and students. The farm runs 100 dairy grazers seasonally and we have our own beef cattle. There is a 300-tree mixed orchard including a new kiwifruit area. There is a native tree nursery where students grow trees for our school farm to be planted around the perimeter where we are also developing a running or cycling track. We have a developing wetland area and are going to start commercial market gardening in 2026. 

Hauraki Plains staff are supportive of our Primary Industries department as is the community.
